DA1220 - CAT-iq™ certification system
DA1220 is approved by DECT-Forum as the accredidated CAT-iq™2.0 Certification Test System for DECT Base Stations and DECT Mobiles. It will delivered with current issued Test Suites containing all relevant Test Cases for CAT-iq™2.0 certification. Only the DA1220 certificate allows the product to apply the CAT-iq. conformance label.
The DA1220 test engine is prepared for the CAT-iq roadmap by using XML scripts based test engine. This approach provides the possibility for the user to customize and write their own XML scripts.
DA1220 is delivered with Test Suite CAT-iq™2.0 feature/function set which automatically contains Test Suite CAT-iq™1.0 functions. Any Test Suite will be released by DOSCH&AMAND and validated for public release by DECT-Forum.
Updates/Upgrades will be automatically notified to DA1220 customers. Future upgrades to Test Suite as CAT-iq 2.1 (security), CAT-iq™3.0 and CAT-iq™4.0 will be offered by DOSCH&AMAND after official released feature set.

Application
DECT security test suite is applicable on the DA1220 platform. Therefore the DA1220 platform is used to certify the DECT base and handsets on enhanced security features. For more information refer to DA1220S product brief
